ok guys weve already had a few ideas (suggested in last thread or via IM) so lets vote on them first (if anyone wants to add one we can) and then we can hammer out the final details and rules:-
1. Ultimized origin/ rebooted origin 2. Legacy Character 3. AoA 4. A hero snaps 5. (one I just thought of due to Scotts thread....which we can just ignore if he/you guys want) the last X-man...or Avenger...or hero...or whatever.
go!

Hmm, they all sound intresting... I have a few ideas you could add if you want: - A story from an outside perspective, like how a hero's act affects a persons life
- Make the theme be a power, and we have to craft a story about that
- I liked the idea of a story where a villian does good
- A story spawning from M-Day (though some have already done something conneting to it)
- A story told from the perspective of someone at Acadamy X

Thunderbolted...where the villain does good. I could swing for that.
I could also go for giving us a power...and we have to make our story stand out from the others. Without that freedom, we have to show how the character stands out. As for what power, the winner of this contest should decide.
BTW: Can we give nicknames for the months? Something to make it cooler...like Month 1: Free Reign. Month ?: Ultimate, Month ?: Thunderbolted, Month ?: Legacies...etc.?

I like most of the ideas, my favorite is the super hero story from a different prespective, but I really dont know if I am going to to be able to write this one, because it seems like I might be computer less for a week or so, actually most likely sometime in December, just dropped my computer, its scratched up on the side, and the cd rom drive seems to have popped out a bit, add to the fact that i had hard drive problems from the beginning, I gotta think of a way to get this fixed fast and cheap without having to not have it during finales week. And with having to write a fing essay every week cause of my crazy bitch English professor, erggh! Yeah I can't catch a break!

I think for the power one, I'd like to write a story about someone with precognition, though someone has written it before...

Okay based on Summersprods list (which I'm sure he's happy doing any of) and with the other 'votes':- Thunderbolted or Set powers those are the two so do people want to vote between those...if we go for number 2 btw well need to decide on a power (I'd like the precog idea but have a feeling everyone would turn in very similar stories...similar to Xtreme's) I'll keep mine back till the end in case of tiebreak (unless you guys are happy with what you already voted for) p.s. one idea for the set power one (if we can't decide) would be to get a list (I remember one from Sinister section) and I'll pick at random (bits of paper from a hat?)..or I'll go scientific and use a random number generator.

Well, I already have a great idea for a precog story, if we decide to do that, that is nothing like Xtreme's, but don't worry it isn't like my last story in that I already wrote it. ;D
I vote for the power story, in particular precognition, though I think I'll be just fine with another power.
Oh and if you wouln't mind me adding one more seggestion, why do the villian stories have to involve them going good? Why can't they just be a story about a villian? Just asking...

I would love an orignal villian story, but I really don't feel like doing another precog story.

Think its basically because it would be too simple, you could easily write a story about a villain (and may do in future) but writing a story with a villain doing the right thing without changing their intrinsic character is both a challange and interesting.
Okay 2 for villain (Crawler, Xtreme) and 1 for power. We've got awhile to decide etc so anymore votes (shall we say before friday and then we can set up the other rules etc)

I'll vote for the power one, although I'm not keen on that power being precognition!

Hmmm very tough. What the hell I chose villain too. But will it be an original villain doing good or an already pre existing character? I'd go for Pre-existing, and make it harder to create a reason for their conversion.
